MorseWave
A downloadable tool for Windows
Note: This is a beta version, so it's not perfect yet.
What can it do?
-
Rebind controls via commands.json
-
Write Morse code and translate it to the Latin alphabet
-
Save your work in
.waves
format -
Export to other formats like
.txt
,.py
,.cpp
, etc.
How it works:
-
To set the file name and extension, open
commands.json
(located in thedata
folder). -
Inside the
data
folder, you’ll also find two subfolders — one for your saved files, and one for exported ones.
It's a weird, sound-powered text editor. But hey — it works.
Note on Morse code spacing:
This project uses the standard international Morse code chart for character translation.
However, since Morse code has no official "empty" or "space" symbol (it normally relies on timing between words), I’ve created a custom placeholder:
Six dots (......) are interpreted as a space between words.
This is needed because MorseWave works with audio input rather than timing gaps.
Failte over.
